Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in a meeting with US Special Envoy Zalmay Khalilzad that Pakistan is looking forward to an Intra Afghan dialogue following today’s peace deal.
According to details, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi met US Special Envoy Zalmay Khalilzad on the occasion of the Afghan peace deal in Doha.
During the meeting, Zalmay Khalilzad briefed the Foreign Minister about the latest situation in the peace agreement between the United States and the Afghan Taliban.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Afghanistan would need the help of the international community for peace and prosperity. Pakistan will continue its efforts for lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan.
Considering that the agreement between the US and the Afghan Taliban will be signed today. Preparations for the signing of the Afghan peace deal have been completed.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar will be representing the Afghan Taliban at the signing ceremony, while Foreign Secretary Mike Pompeo will also be present at the signing ceremony. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi is representing Pakistan.
