Foreign Office spokeswoman Ayesha Farooq confirmed that Dr Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant to PM for Health Affairs, in SAARC video conference to combat coronavirus, highlighted Kashmir issue while representing Pakistan.
According to the Foreign Office, Dr. Zafar Mirza briefed the members of SAARC countries regarding Pakistan’s actions and prevention of the Coronavirus.
According to the Foreign Office, Pakistan is taking steps from day to day to prevent the spread of Corona. The World Health Organization also praised the strategy and praised the measures taken by the Pakistani government.

Special Assistant to PM for Health Dr. Zafar Mirza, in a video conference addressing Modi and other SAARC leaders, said that the world is now suffering on lockdown while Kashmiris have been facing such a situation for the past seven months.
He demanded that the access of information to Kashmiris be ensured. It is the basic right of the Kashmiris to provide accurate and necessary information for the protection of the people of Kashmir.
He said that the provision of food and other essential supplies to the Kashmiris should be ensured. India should provide uninterrupted medical facilities to the people of occupied Kashmir.
