US announces $1 million aid for Pakistan to combat coronavirus


US Deputy Foreign Minister Alice Wells has said that the United States is working with Pakistan to fight the Coronavirus, with US providing one million dollars to Pakistan through US Aid.

According to details, US Deputy Foreign Minister for South and Central Asia Alice Wells tweeted that the US is working with Pakistan to fight the Coronavirus. Pakistan and the US is a partner to address global health challenges.

The US has also announced that it will help Pakistan in the fight against the Coronavirus. US is also providing US $ 1 million to Pakistan through US Aid. This funding will help Pakistan to tackle the Coronavirus and react fast.

She said that more than 100 recently graduated Pakistani graduates of Central Disease Control are investigating Corona cases in Gilgit-Baltistan and Punjab.

Talking to media in New York today, Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said that the Coronavirus testing kits will be manufactured locally. Next week the production of kits will be started. The supply of sanitizers from the government will begin on Monday.
