The United Nations has paid tribute to Pakistan role in peacekeeping missions in the best possible way and openly acknowledged Pakistan’s peace efforts and humanitarian activities.

A UN spokesman tweeted a video of ISPR regarding the Pakistan Army’s relief operations in Congo. Heavy rains and floods in Uvira last week destroyed thousands of homes and affected about 75,000 people.

The video, shared by ISPR, said Pakistan’s peacekeeping mission had rescued about 2,000 people stranded in the floods in the Congo region of Uvira.

The UN tweeted about Pak peacekeeping operations which shows how the Pakistani army saved hundreds of lives from the devastating floods. Pakistan is a key partner in UN peacekeeping missions.

The United Nations paid grand tribute to Pakistani peacekeeping mission in Congo, saying that the Pakistani mission is a messenger of world peace and a protector of humanity.
