Pakistan Cricket Board suspends Umar Akmal for violating anti-corruption code.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has immediately suspended Umar Akmal under Section 4.7.1 of the Anti-Corruption Code, after which Umar Akmal will not participate in any cricket-related activity till the investigation by the Anti-Corruption Unit is completed.

The PCB statement said that investigations are currently underway regarding Umar Akmal, so the board will not release any further statements on the matter.
