Telecom company Jazz contributes Rs 5 crore to PM corona relief fund

Chief Executive Officer of telecom company Jazz Mobilink has given a cheque of Rs.5 crore in PM Corona Relief Fund. According to News details, Special Assistant Zulfi Bukhari and Jazz CEO Amir Ibrahim had a special meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan today.

At the meeting, CEO Jazz presented a cheque of Rs.5 crore for the PM Corona relief fund established to tackle with the Corona epidemic. The Prime Minister said that those who participated in the Corona Relief Fund deserve praise. He also praised the special efforts of the Special Assistant Zulfi Bukhari.

Meanwhile, the company has also announced a mechanism for users to contribute funds, according to which consumers will be able to send a message to 6677 and donate Rs. 20 in the relief fund.

A relief package of Rs 20 crore has been given by the company as a whole. Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the donation of the company’s CEO and employees to the Corona Relief Fund and thanked them.

Last week, the CEO of cellular company Jazz made a big announcement in relation to the Corona Virus Relief, while speaking at ARY News’ program Eleventh Hour, Jazz Company CEO Amir Ibrahim said that 1.2 billion (Rs. 1 billion 20 crore) has been allocated for corona relief. This amount will be spent in the next 3 weeks.
