Sindh government banned Friday prayers amid Coronavirus outbreak.
According to details, Friday gatherings are banned by the Sindh government due to the Coronavirus. Only mosque staff will be involved in Friday prayers in Sindh.
Spokesman Sindh Government Murtaza Wahab said that prayer gatherings will be banned from March 27 to April 5 in the mosques. This decision has been made in consultation with the religious scholars and others.
Murtaza Wahab says that only 3 to 5 people will be able to offer Friday prayers in mosques. The ban on Friday gatherings has been decided to protect the people from the virus.
It should be noted that the total number of cases of Coronavirus has reached 1130 in Pakistan while 9 people have died due to the virus.
It should be remembered that two days ago, the Sindh government announced the closure of the food stores for 12 hours to make the lockdown more efficient and instructed the shopkeepers to conduct business for a fixed 12 hours, from 8 am to 8 pm.
