Sharp rise in Coronavirus cases reported in Pakistan

The coronavirus has killed 22 more people in the country, bringing the total death toll to 457, while new coronavirus cases have brought the number of confirmed patients to 20134.

The highest death toll so far has been in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 180 people have died from Corona while 130 people died in Sindh, and 121 in Punjab.

In addition, 19 people have died in Balochistan, four in Islamabad, and three in Gilgit-Baltistan due to the deadly virus.

Total Tests: 203,025

Recovery patient: 4817 (according to Command and Control Center)

The status of today’s cases:

Today, 1312 new coronavirus cases and 22 deaths have been reported from across the country. 640 cases and 6 more deaths have been reported in Punjab while 363 new cases and 8 deaths have been reported in Sindh.

Eight people have been killed and 222 new cases are confirmed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while 46 new cases are reported in Balochistan, 28 in Islamabad, eight in Gilgit, and five in Azad Kashmir.
