Ramzan 2020 Moon To Be Sighted On 24 April

Ramzan 2020 moon

Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry has claimed that Ramzan 2020 moon will be sighted on 24th April. He has also criticized the Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee while responding to Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman’s statement about the lockdown on mosques.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said in his tweet, “Maulana Muneeb-ur-Rehman is our respected elder but he can’t see such a big moon, so how he will see such a small coronavirus?”

Fawad Chaudhry said, “The Ministry of Religious Affairs has been given the attention that if the heads of your ministerial committee would make fun of government orders, what would we expect from the rest?”

The Federal Minister claimed that as far as Ramadan is concerned, the Ramzan 2020 moon will be sighted on April 24 and Insha Allah the first fast will be kept on April 25.

“It was intended earlier that this time, people will gather to see the moon, but now Corona has canceled every gathering. In Sha Allah, we will conduct the moon night gatherings next year,” he added.

It is to be noted that during the press conference yesterday, Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said that lockdown will not apply to mosques from now on. The principle of social distance in mosques would be taken care of and Taraweeh prayers and Itikaf will continue in mosques during Ramadan
