Qatar bans entry of people from Pakistan due to coronavirus


Qatar stopped passengers from Pakistan given the threat of the coronavirus, after which 96 passengers from Karachi and Islamabad to Doha were offloaded.

According to details, the tourist visa was also banned for Pakistanis to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Altogether 96 passengers from Karachi and Islamabad to Doha were offloaded, while offloaded passengers were going to Doha on visit visas.

Airport sources say double bookings for passenger visas at airports across the country have been canceled. There is no restrictions on connecting flights, they are allowed to travel.

Qatar has banned tourist visas for fourteen countries including Pakistan. Only passenger visas or connecting flights can travel to Qatar. Travelers with visit visas and online visit visas are not allowed in Qatar.

The countries that Qatar has banned include Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Nepal, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria, and Thailand.

Remember that the first case of the deadly coronavirus was reported in Qatar in late February. The Qatari Health Department confirmed that a 36-year-old citizen had been confirmed with the coronavirus, who had recently arrived in Qatar by special flight.
