PTI MPA Shaheen Raza Passed Away Due To COVID-19

PTI MPA Shaheen Raza died of the coronavirus. Shaheen Raza was elected MPA of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the reserved seat for women and was about 60 years old.

Mayo Hospital CEO Dr. Asad Aslam confirmed the death of PTI MPA Shaheen Raza, saying that the coronavirus had been confirmed in Shaheen Raza.

Dr. Asad Aslam said that Begum Shaheen Raza was also suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes and was shifted to DHQ Hospital on May 17 due to ill health from where she was referred to Lahore. Corona’s victim PTI MPA Shaheen Raza has been buried in Gujranwala.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar, and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar have expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Shaheen Raza.

It may be recalled that more than 45,000 people have been affected by Corona in Pakistan so far, out of which more than a thousand have died.

So far, several members of the Assembly have confirmed the coronavirus, but Shaheen Raza is the first Pakistani lawmaker to die from the coronavirus.
