Governor Rule in Sindh

PTI leadership demands Governor rule in Sindh province. Opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi demanded the imposition of emergency in Sindh under Article 235 of the Constitution.

Talking to media in Karachi, Firdous Shamim Naqvi said that the situation in Sindh is deteriorating rapidly and under Article 235, the President should impose a financial emergency.

Firdous Shamim Naqvi said that there is nothing wrong in imposing governor rule in Sindh. The constitution is being violated in the province. The Sindh government did not answer how the money was spent nor did it say how the province’s economy would be restored.

The Leader of the Opposition in the Sindh Assembly said that the Sindh government had spent billions of rupees on the health sector. He said that he is telling the federation and the Chief Justice that we need action. The Chief Minister of Sindh is nowhere to be seen.
