PSL 5 Postponed Amid Coronavirus Fears


Pakistan Cricket Board has postponed 2 semi-finals and final matches of Pakistan Super League Five amid Coronavirus outbreak and has said that the matches will be rescheduled.

PCB has officially announced the postponement of PSL matches on social networking site Twitter, saying that the 2 PSL semi-finals and final matches will be rescheduled.

Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board changed the schedule of HBL PSL 2020 to turn the play-offs of the event into semi-finals and finals.

It is to be remembered that both the PSL 5 semifinals were to be played in Lahore today while the final match of PSL was to be held tomorrow.

The owners of the PSL teams and Pakistan Cricket Board had a meeting in which It was decided that PSL will continue according to the schedule. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board allowed foreign players to withdraw from the Pakistan Super League due to the threat of the Coronavirus.
