After the one-on-one meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Mahathir Mohamed, the Malaysian Prime Minister said that there was a comprehensive dialogue on bilateral cooperation with the Prime Minister of Pakistan. We have pledged to further strengthen bilateral relations.
The Malaysian Prime Minister said that the two countries will work together to address the challenges of the Muslim Ummah. Mahathir Mohammed said that it was agreed to increase cooperation in defense and education fields, and to remove trade barriers and to increase mutual trade.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he was very sad that he could not attend the conference in Kuala Lumpur in mid-December. Close friends of Pakistan thought that this conference would lead to a split in Muslim Ummah but it was a misconception. He will attend the next Muslim Summit.
“Traditionally Pakistan and Malaysia are closer to each other. The visit is aimed at fostering relations between the two countries. The future of cooperation between Pakistan and Malaysia in defense, education, and trade is excellent. Relations between Pakistan and Malaysia are strong in various fields.”
On the occasion, the Prime Minister mentioned that the occupied Kashmir has been the largest prison in the world for 6 months. The situation in the valley is very serious. India is threatening Malaysia for supporting Pakistan on Kashmir’s cause.
