PM Imran Khan has said that Corona’s pressure will increase in the coming days, but the government is working to protect doctors and medical staff.
The Prime Minister visited Hayatabad Medical Complex in Peshawar where he was briefed on the measures taken to treat coronavirus patients.
Speaking on the occasion, the PM Imran Khan said that the government realizes the importance of the safety of doctors and other medical staff. “I assure you we are with you and are taking steps to protect you.” “We have to deal with the Coronavirus as well as hunger in the current situation,” he said.
He further said that the closure of global markets has difficulties in procurement, but the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is bringing relief goods from China and other countries.
He said the whole world is infected with the Coronavirus and that there are difficulties in buying of relief equipment from other countries due to the closure of global markets.
It is to be noted that in the country Corona cases are increasing day by day. The total number of victims is 4699 while the death toll has risen to 68.
