Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the Ehsas undergraduate scholarship program under which 50,000 undergraduate students will be given educational scholarships.
In Islamabad, the ceremony was held to distribute scholarships among eligible students in the first phase of the scholarship program. Addressing the students on the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that we will now provide facilities to those who are left behind.
The Prime Minister said that providing scholarships to 50,000 students annually is a huge milestone. Students who will get scholarships will raise not only themselves but their families and their country.
He said that the state of Madinah was the realm of the weak, so it was a successful model of the world. The Prime Minister said that we are gradually moving towards the model of the state of Madinah. Our biggest asset is our youth. We have to transform them into a better workforce.
PM Imran Khan further said that the scholarships will be given on merit and will not tolerate any political interference, which will be the key reason for the success of the program.
