PM Imran Khan has once again made reshuffle in Federal Cabinet. Shahzad Akbar, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan, has been transferred.
The Prime Minister has removed Shehzad Akbar from the post of Special Assistant and appointed him as Adviser on Home Affairs and Accountability, for which a notification has also been issued.
According to the notification issued by the Cabinet Division, the status of Shehzad Akbar will be equal to that of the Federal Minister.
Also, Malik Amin Aslam has been appointed Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Climate Change and his post will be equal to that of the Federal Minister.
In the notification, Malik Amin Aslam has been directed to assume office immediately. Earlier, Malik Amin Aslam was the Prime Minister’s Adviser on Climate Change.
Earlier on April 6, Prime Minister Imran Khan had made important reshuffle in federal cabinet following the release of an investigation report on the flour and sugar crisis.
The portfolio of Federal Minister Khusro Bakhtiar was changed to the Ministry of Economic Affairs, while Aminul Haq of MQM had been given the portfolio of Telecommunication in the place of Khalid Maqbool Saddiqui.
Fakhr Imam had been given the portfolio of Ministry of Food Security and Babar Awan had returned to the cabinet. He had been made the Parliamentary Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister.
