PM Imran Khan decides to open Mosques in Ramadan. Ulemas and scholars from across the country have fully endorsed Prime Minister Imran Khan’s stance on lockdown and assured full cooperation.

A consultative meeting was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister. Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Mufti Taqi Usmani and Allama Shehnshah Naqvi also joined the meeting via video link.

The meeting was also attended by Pir Amin Ul Hasnat Shah, Moulana Hanif Jalandhari, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri, Chairman Islamic Ideological Council Dr. Qibla Ayaz, Assistant Special Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan and others.

The scholars assured full support for the government’s decision to take precautionary measures and appealed to the people to worship with precautionary measures during Ramadan. Religious Affairs Minister Noorulhaq Qadri said Friday would be celebrated as a day of forgiveness and mercy. PM Imran Khan decides to open mosques in Ramadan with precautionary measures.

He said that the 20-point SOPs decided during the meeting of the President and the Ulema will be strictly followed during Ramadan. Assistant Special Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan said that in case of the violation of the declaration, strict action will be taken.
