Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid Bin Salman visited Pakistan and met with Prime Minister Imran Khan and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and discussed regional and international issues.
Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad and discussed bilateral relations, regional and international issues.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have brotherly and historical relations. Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Pakistan in 2019 was historic.
The Prime Minister apprised the Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense about the deteriorating human rights situation in occupied Kashmir. Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman also called on Pak Army General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
According to the Pakistan Army Spokesperson (ISPR), the issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting at GHQ, while the meeting also discussed expanding defense cooperation.
According to the ISPR, the Saudi minister thanked Pakistan Army for training the Saudi Armed Forces and appreciated the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Army.
It was agreed during the meeting that Pak-Saudi relations are very deep. They are being transformed into sustainable partnerships. According to ISPR, the meeting also discussed the training exchange program, the region and the situation in occupied Kashmir.
