Pakistani govt sends 17 tonnes food for stranded students in China


17 tonnes of Food for Pakistani students stranded in Wuhan, China, have been sent by the government.

According to details, the prepared food was sent from Islamabad this morning to Wuhan by plane. The food is being supplied to Pakistanis based in the Chinese city. The special directive of the Prime Minister was carried out by the Ministry of Overseas and National Disaster Management Authority.

On a return flight, PIA will also bring relief supplies for the Coronavirus from China. Ministery of Overseas had given a check of Rs.2.5 million to the Chairman NDMA for food.

Zulfi Bukhari told media that Pakistani students have been dispatched food and drink items of 15 days. Before this, financial help has also been sent to the government. Government of Pakistan will take care of its students in every way.

Zulfi Bukhari said that there are about 1,300 students for whom 15 days of aid has been sent. Pakistan is in constant contact with the Chinese government regarding its citizens.
