The National Accountability Bureau NAB summons Shahbaz Sharif, the PML N Leader and the opposition leader in the National Assembly, again on April 22.
The NAB had earlier called Shahbaz Sharif on April 17 in the case of a assets beyond mean, but had submitted a written response and did not present himself due to the Coronavirus situation.
The National Accountability Bureau has again sent notice to Shahbaz Sharif on April 22 at 12’o clock. According to NAB sources, It has been assured to Shahbaz Sharif that security arrangements will be made given the coronavirus situation
Sources said that the inquiry in the assets beyond the mean case is in the final stages and questioning from Shahbaz Sharif is urgent. NAB summons Shahbaz Sharif for the consective second time.
It may be recalled that two days ago, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had summoned Shahbaz Sharif, the opposition leader in the National Assembly, in the money laundering case and directed him to bring the details of the inherited property.
However, Shahbaz Sharif had refused to appear in the NAB because of Coronavirus and Lockdown. In this regard, PML-N leader Ata Tarar said that due to Corona and Lockdown, Shahbaz Sharif was unable to present before the NAB while he has submitted his written reply to the NAB.
It may be recalled that Shahbaz Sharif had earlier been arrested by the NAB in the Asiana Housing Scheme and Ramzan Sugar Mill case, but the Lahore High Court had granted him bail on February 14, 2019.
