Markets sealed in Karachi over violations of SOPs. Zainab Market was closed on the third day after it reopened due to the non-implementation of SOPs during the Corona Lockdown. Leading shopping malls in Karachi, Zainab Market, Victoria Market, and International Market Management were also sealed.

According to details, the district administration of Karachi closed the Zainab market for violating SOPs. On this occasion, incidents of bitter rhetoric also took place between the assistant commissioner and shopkeepers.

When the SOPs were not implemented, Assistant Commissioner President Asif Raza Chandio took action, which enraged the shopkeepers.

Later, the Assistant Commissioner sealed markets in Karachi such as the Victoria Market and the International Market. There was resistance in sealing the markets. Due to the protest of the traders, a heavy contingent of police also reached the spot.

In this regard, the Assistant Commissioner said that the shopkeepers did not use sanitizer and also did not wear masks and gloves. Zainab Market was sealed for violating SOPs while talking to media, the shopkeepers said. We were fully implementing the SOP.

There is a huge crowd in the market and thousands of people have come for shopping. SOPs are not being followed and due to this reason markets sealed in Karachi.
