International leaders send condolences on PIA plane crash in Karachi

World leaders have expressed grief over the PIA plane crash in Karachi. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) passenger plane A320 Airbus coming from Lahore to Karachi crashed in a residential area near Jinnah International Airport Karachi.

Tweeting on social networking site Twitter, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani said that he shares the grief of the families of those killed in the plane crash, adding that the Afghan nation is with Pakistan on this occasion of grief.

On the other hand, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed regret over the PIA plane crash. He said that he was saddened by the loss of precious lives due to the plane crash in Pakistan and offered condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has expressed regret over the plane crash on the social networking site Twitter.

He added on Twitter that the news from Pakistan this morning is shocking. To the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the crash of PK 8303, and to everyone affected by this tragedy, our hearts go out to you. Canadians are keeping you in our thoughts today.

On the other hand, OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousuf Al-Othaimeen also expressed regret over the plane crash and said that he was shocked to hear about the crash.
