Important decisions to tackle coronavirus in Pakistan


Important decisions were made at the National Security Committee meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan to prevent the Coronavirus.

According to details, a meeting of the National Security Committee, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, was held in the Prime Minister’s House to discuss the possibility of implementing an emergency across the country to prevent Corona.

Civil and military leadership, including chiefs of the armed forces, attended the meeting. According to sources, the national strategy related to coronavirus was made at the meeting and important decisions were taken in this regard.

Education institutions closed

At the meeting, it was decided to close all educational institutions across the country by April 5. schools, universities, private institutions, and madrassas will remain closed.

Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said the decision to close the educational institutions will be reviewed again on March 27.

March 23 event canceled

Sources say that the March 23 ceremony of Pakistan Day has been canceled. There will be no parade on that day.

International flights limited

International flights will be operated only from Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore.

Borders closed

On the other hand, in the light of the decision of the National Security Committee meeting, a decree was issued to seal the borders of Afghanistan and Iran. Both borders will remain closed for two weeks. The Interior Ministry issued a notification regarding the closure of the border.
