Prime Minister Imran Khan directs action against those who’re selling surgical masks at expensive prices.
Prime Minister ordered the administration to crack down on the sale of masks after the coronavirus outbreak and take notice against the stockists.
Rawalpindi’s district administration raided a mask-making factory under the direction of the prime minister, during which the factory owner who was selling masks at extra cost was detained.
In Rawalpindi, a mask worth Rs 12 was being sold for 40 rupees. In addition, on the directive of the Prime Minister, in other cities, the team also started a crackdown against the stocking of masks.
It should be remembered that two days ago, two cases of the coronavirus were reported in Pakistan, after which the makers of the mask increased the prices instantly. Citizens were also very upset due to the extra cost of the mask and market unavailability.
