Govt reduces petrol price by Rs 5 per litre

According to a notification issued by the finance ministry, the price of petrol was reduced to Rs. 111.60 per liter after the reduction of Rs. 05. The price of high-speed diesel has also been reduced by 5 Rs. The new price is 122.26 Rs per liter.

The price of light diesel is also lessened by 07 Rs. The new price is 77.51 Rs.According to the Finance Ministry, the price of kerosene oil dropped by Rs 7 to Rs 92.45. New prices will apply from midnight.

It is to be noted that the prices of crude oil in the global market have declined, which is due to the economic activities caused by the coronavirus and the decline in oil demand.
