Flight operation resumed within the country. The ban on domestic flights due to the Corona epidemic in the country has been lifted. A limited flight operation between five cities will start today.

According to details, the ban on domestic flights has been lifted from today. In this regard, the first flight of PIA will depart from Karachi to Lahore at 4 pm today.

According to the spokesperson of the Aviation Division, the CAA has made arrangements for domestic flights at Karachi Airport. Awareness banners related to SOPs have also been installed in the Airport Domestic Lounge.

Marks have been put up in the lounge to keep a distance of 2 meters between the passengers. Signs have also been put up on the benches forbidding them to sit together. Passengers will have to wear masks as soon as they enter the lounge.

It may be recalled that the government had decided to open regional flights for domestic passengers yesterday, according to which 20% partial flight operation has been restored. Flight operation resumed within the country from 5 major airports, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta airports.
