The head of a coronavirus vaccine company in the United States has been fired. Ex vaccine chief says he was removed after questioning drug Trump praised.

According to US media, President Trump said that the anti-malarial drug is effective against Corona, while Dr. Rick Bright disagreed with President Trump’s opinion on chloroquine.

Dr. Rick Bright, head of the federal agency that develops the corona vaccine in the United States, says he was suddenly transferred from the Biomedical Advanced and Research Authority’s Department of Health and Human Services to the National Institutes of Health for further research on hydroxychloroquine.

Ex vaccine chief added that science is not the name of politics or nepotism, but the field of science is for the health and safety of Americans, but Trump has always politicized it.

Dr. Rick Bright has been the head of the Biomedical Advanced and Research Authority since 2016 and also headed the Influenza and Emerging Infectious Diseases Division.
