Educational Institutions will remain closed in Quetta amid coronavirus


After two cases of coronavirus were reported in Pakistan, the Balochistan government took precautions and announced that the educational institutions will be closed.

According to details, the Balochistan Education Department says that all educational institutions of Balochistan will remain closed till March 15, which is aimed at protecting the children from coronavirus.

According to a notification issued by the department, all the madrassas across Balochistan will also be closed. The educational boards will not take the examinations during the holidays.

Details of two persons suffering from the Coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan. The person reported in Karachi was identified as Yahya Jaffri, who arrived in Karachi from Iran a few days ago.

The other man, who belongs to the tribal area and had also arrived in Lahore from Iran a week ago, was shifted to PIMS Hospital in Islamabad where blood samples were taken and sent to the National Institutes of Health after the symptoms of the Coronavirus appeared.
