Coronavirus situation in Pakistan


Coronavirus in Pakistan swallowed five lives in a single day, bringing the total number of deaths to 17 across the country, and the number of infected patients has risen to 1600 after the emergence of new cases.

A 68-year-old woman was killed by a Coronavirus in Rahim Yar Khan city of Punjab, after which the total number of deaths in the province has risen to six.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar confirmed that a 68-year-old woman returned from Saudi Arabia, was under treatment at Rahim Yar Khan where she died today.

Earlier today, a deadly virus killed two people in Sindh, followed by a third death toll in the province, while one person was killed in the Abbottabad district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and it is the 5th death in the province.

In addition, one killed today in Gilgit-Baltistan, where a health department employee became the victim of a deadly virus and this is the second death from the deadly virus in Gilgit.

Today’s situation:

Today, 96 new cases have been reported in the country out of which 36 have been confirmed in Punjab, 33 in Sindh, 12 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 4 in KP, Azad Kashmir and Islamabad, and 3 in Balochistan.

After confirming the new cases, the total number of people infected in the country has risen to 1600 while 31 people infected with the deadly virus in Pakistan have recovered so far out of which 14 are from Sindh, 6 from Gilgit-Baltistan, 5 from Punjab. Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan have also recovered 2, 2 patients.
