Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa went to Pak Air Force wing commander Shaheed Noman Akram’s house and recited Fatiha for the martyr.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa reached the house of Wing Commander Nauman Akram Shaheed in Lahore and met his family.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief of Army Staff said that the improvement of peace and order in the country is due to the great sacrifices of the martyrs. The sacrifices of our martyrs will not go unnoticed.
It may be recalled that on March 11, an F-16 aircraft of Pak Air Force was crashed in Islamabad near Shakarparian, in which Pilot Wing Commander Nauman Akram was also martyred.
The F-16 aircraft was rehearsing for Pakistan Parade on March 23, according to the Pak Air Force. Shaheed Nauman Akram was a reputed Wing Commander and winner of the Sher Afgan Award in 2019.
