The Corps Commanders Conference, chaired by Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, held a review of national and regional security situations including the Line of Control (LoC).
According to the Director-General of Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, the Corps Commanders Conference took place at General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi.
According to the DG ISPR, the Corps Commanders Conference reviewed the Pak Army’s operational readiness, line of control, geostrategic environment, national and regional security situation.
The Corps Commander Conference also discussed the Coronavirus-generated situation and virus-related security measures at the Army level.
DG ISPR says Army Chief directs relevant authorities on Coronavirus to speed up preparations to play any role in national efforts to tackle pandemic.
According to the spokesman of the Pak Army, the Afghan peace process was also reviewed at the Corps Commanders Conference.
Speaking on the occasion, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the path to regional peace and stability goes through Afghanistan. Pakistan is sincerely ready to play its part in the Afghan peace process.
