Close friend of PM Imran Khan and member NA from Karachi Najeeb Haroon resigns after which Prime Minister Imran Khan gave Governor Sindh Imran Ismail the task of persuading Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi leader and Member National Assembly Najeeb Haroon.
According to sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan telephoned Governor Sindh and gave him the task of persuading Najeeb Haroon. The Prime Minister said that Najeeb Haroon is one of the founding members of the party. He directed that the reservations and concerns of Najeeb Haroon should be removed.
Governor Sindh Imran Ismail said that Najeeb Haroon is the party’s asset, in any case, Najeeb Haroon will be convinced. Sources say Najeeb Haroon has been approached by senior party workers and also given a message to Prime Minister Imran Khan.
It may be recalled that yesterday, senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Najeeb Haroon, resigned from the National Assembly seat. Najeeb Haroon resigns saying that despite being an MNA for 20 months, he could not do anything for his constituency nor for Karachi.
Remember that Najeeb Haroon is one of the founding members of the PTI and he was elected as a member of the National Assembly from NA 256 Karachi.
