Chris Lynn and David Wiese leave Pakistan Ahead of Semi Finals

Before the semi-finals of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Five, the Lahore Qalandars suffered a major setback when their Australian player Chris Lynn announced that he is leaving the PSL and returning home immediately.

The aggressive batsman played a superb 113 runs inning off 55 balls on Sunday afternoon against Multan Sultans. Chris Lynn announced on social media that he had enjoyed his stay in Pakistan but in the current situation he has decided to return home.

Australian player Chris Lynn said he has always held that there is more to life than cricket and that is the basis of his decision. He hoped that the team would perform well in the knockout phase.

Earlier, South Africa’s David Wiese and Sri Lanka’s Seekkuge Prasanna also left Pakistan due to coronavirus. Lahore Qalandars currently have Ben Dunk, Samit Patel, and Dane Vilas as foreign players.

The Lahore Qalandars team will face Karachi Kings in the semi-finals on Tuesday. Alex Hales and Mitchell McClenaghan of Karachi Kings have also returned home.
