The accountability court has accepted exemption requests of the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Chaudhry Sugar Mills Case.
Chaudhry Sugar Mills Case was heard at the Accountability Court on Monday 30th March. Arguing on the occasion, Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer took the stand that the bail was granted by the three accused in the High Court, but no reference has been filed by the NAB.
There is no court proceeding in this regard, the lawyer added.
Let Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, and Yusuf Abbas be present in the court till the reference is filed. To which the court, except the attendance till the reference has been filed, said that when the reference is filed, the accused will be summoned.
Meanwhile, the Accountability Court has extended the judicial remand of Ahad Cheema by April 14 who was involved in the Asiana Housing Scheme Scandal.
