Army Chief Qamar Bajwa

Army Chief Qamar Bajwa said that Balochistan is the future of Pakistan and will continue to work for peace and development in Balochistan.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief Qamar Bajwa visited Quetta and was received by Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Muhammad Wasim Ashraf. The Chief of Army Staff was briefed on the security situation and operational readiness and a briefing was given at the Quarantine Center at Southern Command Headquarters.

According to DG ISPR, the Army Chief also visited the Garrison Quarantine Center. General Qamar Javed Bajwa was also briefed on the fencing of the Pak-Afghan border and border management.

According to ISPR, the Chief of Army Staff lauded the high morale of the officers and soldiers. The Chief of Army Staff also lauded the professionalism and dedication of the officers and soldiers.

The Army Chief directed to provide facilities to the people in remote areas. He was also briefed on social and economic development initiatives in Balochistan.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Balochistan is the future of Pakistan. We will provide full cooperation for the development and prosperity of the provincial government.

It may be recalled that a few days ago, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa had visited Kohat. Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Noman Ahmed was also with him. He was briefed on the preparations and situation on the Pak-Afghan border.
