Army Chief Qamar Bajwa has said that Pakistan Army will ensure the protection of innocent civilians on the LOC. According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Line of Control. The Army Chief was briefed on the situation in the LOC and Indian provocations.
On this occasion, the Corps Commander Rawalpindi Lieutenant General Azhar Abbas also accompanied the Army Chief. The Chief of Army Staff appreciated the high morale and readiness of the soldiers of the Pakistan Army and praised the bravery and professionalism of the soldiers and officers.
The Chief of Army Staff said that Indian provocations are a threat to peace and stability in the region. We don’t accept the oppression of the occupying Indian army on the Kashmiris. We can’t tolerate deliberate targeting of the civilian population of Azad Kashmir.
Army Chief said that the Pakistan Army would ensure the protection of innocent civilians on the LOC and would ensure the defense of the motherland at all costs. Army Chief Qamar Bajwa said that the Pakistan Army would continue to support national efforts to control the Corona epidemic.
It may be recalled that two days ago, the Indian Army had opened unprovoked fire on Jandroot, Khoi Ratta sector, as a result of which 36-year-old Yasmeen Bibi Shaheed and 8-year-old girl Atiya Zaheer were injured.
It should be noted that despite the Coronavirus and Ramadan, the Indian Army continues to violate the ceasefire agreement on the Line of Control and the civil population is being targeted by Indian artillery.
