Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa during a meeting with the Qatari Ambassador said that Pak-Qatar relations are expected to further expand and strengthen.
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the Ambassador of the Gulf State of Qatar to Pakistan has called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed issues of mutual interest and cooperation in various fields.
Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Babar Iftikhar said that General Qamar Javed Bajwa congratulated the Ambassador of Qatar on assuming new responsibilities.
On the occasion, the Army Chief said that it is hoped that Pak-Qatar relations would be further expanded and strengthened, adding that economic development would be possible only if there is lasting peace and stability in the region.
According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations Department, the Qatari Ambassador praised Pakistan’s efforts for peace and stability in the region.
