Four teams have reached the semifinals of the 5th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The semi finalist teams were decided during the last group match of the league played between Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings.
The Quetta Gladiators had to score a target off 20 balls against the Karachi Kings, in which they failed and as a result, Peshawar Zalmi made it to the semi-finals.
The first semi-final of the event will be played on Tuesday at 2 pm at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, where the team of Multan Sultans will take on Peshawar Zalmi.
The second semi-final of the event will be played between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars at 7 pm on the same day.
Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmai teams had competed twice in the group stage before. Both times Multan Sultans end on the winning side. They won by 6 wickets in the first group match and by 3 runs in the second match.
On the other hand, the traditional rivals, Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings, was equally good at the group stage. In the first group match, Lahore Qalandars won by 8 wickets and Karachi Kings won by 10 wickets in the second encounter.
The final of the event will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on March 18 at 7 pm.
