Abdul Aleem Khan takes oath

PTI leader Abdul Aleem Khan takes oath as provincial minister to return to the provincial cabinet, but he has not been given any ministry yet. The oath ceremony took place at Governor House Punjab where Governor Punjab Mohammed Sarwar administered the oath. Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar was also present during the ceremony.

Later in the tweet, Aleem Khan thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that I am grateful for Imran Khan’s confidence and will strive to fulfill the responsibility of the ministry.

After the oath ceremony, Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar met Abdul Aleem Khan. The Governor and Chief Minister congratulated Abdul Aleem Khan on taking over the ministry.

It may be recalled that in the last days, Abdul Aleem Khan had met the Chief Minister of Punjab in which he had removed the concerns of Usman Buzdar. Sources say that before meeting with Chief Minister Punjab, Abdul Aleem Khan had also met Prime Minister Imran Khan.

It should be noted that after the formation of PTI government in Punjab, Aleem Khan was included in the cabinet as senior minister. However, on February 6, 2019, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested him in assets beyond mean and other cases. He had resigned from the ministry. Now, after bail, Abdul Aleem Khan takes oath as provincial minister once again.
