A special field hospital with 1000 beds was set up at the Expo Center Lahore to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, headed by Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar.
With the joint efforts of the Department of Health, District Administration and Rescue 1122, a 1000-bed hospital has been built in just nine days.
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar visited the field hospital of 1000 beds set up at the Expo Center today. Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid was also with him.
CM Punjab reviewed the treatment facilities for Corona patients at Field Hospital and also met with doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff appointed for treatment of patients.
It is to be noted that the cases of Corona from Punjab are constantly increasing and the number of victims has increased to 700 in the province while the death toll has increased to 9.
Lockdown is also ongoing in small cities to prevent the fast-spreading coronavirus by the Punjab government.
